Julian Rose is a student assistant that helps to manage the social media of the Student Diversity Programs. Specifically, he is the photographer and interviewer for the #HumansofGT series! Julian is working on a PhD in Biomedical Engineering in the Joint Georgia Tech and Emory University graduate program. Beyond engineering, Julian is an artist, photographer, community organizer and a published writer. He stays involved on campus as the Vice President of the BME Graduate Student Advocacy Board (GSAB), an active member of the Black Graduate Student Association (BGSA) and as a high school student mentor with Project ENGAGES. Upon graduating, Julian plans to become a research professor, studying therapeutics for neurodegenerative disease. His favorite thing about working for Student Diversity Programs is being able to hear all the the amazing stories of the GT community, and capturing the beauty of diversity!
